The Dsa website quoted around 45hrs of professional tuition plus plenty private practice to get me to test standard. Francis said around 35 max after my first lesson. he seems to know straight away what the pupil needs in terms of lessons. And of course he was wrong, I passed after 30 and a half hrs. what agreat teach. Francis is very firm but very fair and requires a very high standard from his pupils before he will let them go for test. This fact filled me with dread until I understood what he was on about. Dear Mr Hughes, I wish to thank you for your encouragement and support of Charlotte during her driving lessons. As you know, charlotte was rather reluctant and nervous about driving but has come through it smiling, having passed her test with you on her first atempt. Charlotte says that the Pass Plus really made things even more clear. Glad this has added to your pass rate and we are very pleased that we chose your school above the cheap options; I remember you saying "you get what you pay for". Using Francis' lesson handouts really helped me to prepare for each of my lessons. He asked me to write a few words on his methods and style which I found quite amazing and I would recommend Francis to anyone. I know I'm not the easiest person to teach and Francis' patience and understanding of the human condition allowed him to get and keep me focused and settled and pass my test FIRST TIME everyone. Im a firm believer in you get what you pay for and this is the perfect case a friendly, relaxed , good tuition from the first lesson to the last. As soon as i had my first lesson i knew i had picked the right tutor/driving school francis is a very high quality instructor and will bring out the best in you. i passed my test first time and i owe it to francis would definately reccomend to anyone looking to start driving"

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experince of learning to drive with Francis Driving School. Francis was very patient which allowed me to progress. I also found that he was a very good teacher, resulting in me passing my drivng test first time! I am now hoping to complete my Pass Plus in the near future with Francis Driving School. Francis did a great job teaching me to drive. I was a complete novice and a bag of nerves behind the wheel to begin with but he turned me into a confident, safe driver in a matter of months. I passed first time and its all down to him. Cheers Adam. Spalding May 2010
